The most common question before a first call is about dimensions. Here is what actually matters for a commercial installation.
The three measurements
Ceiling height is the constraint most operators underestimate. You need at least 10′ of clear height at the hitting position — measured to the lowest obstruction, whether that’s a beam, a sprinkler head or an HVAC duct. The room peak doesn’t count.
Bay width determines screen size and whether left- and right-handed players can swing comfortably. Narrower is workable but limits your options; wider opens up larger screens and a better guest experience.
Bay depth sets the distance from the screen to the hitting mat. More depth means a more natural launch angle and better image quality from the projector.

These are usable clear dimensions — not room dimensions. Deduct for columns, walls and any permanent fixtures inside the bay footprint. 22′ depth is recommended across all packages for the best experience.
What to measure before you call us
- Ceiling height at the hitting position (not at the peak)
- Clear width between walls or any obstructions
- Clear depth from where the screen will hang to the back wall
- Door width and height (for delivery access — 36″ × 80″ minimum)
